Accompanied
my mum for check up at the hospital.
The nurses
were so tensed as there were many patients. An old man was scolding the nurses,
saying they put his patient card to the bottom of the stack of others' cards.
When I asked
a pretty young nurse which room my mum should go to see the doctor, she raised
her voice, "Jotted on the white card already."
I felt my
anger but ended up I smiled and said, "I know you're busy. Keep up your
hard work."
The nurse's
face turned red and said, "I'm sorry..."
Most people
just want a little acknowledgement and appreciation from others to make them
feel better.
Hopefully my
smiles warmed up someone's day in the hospital.
